Hey, is the game not coming to Steam anymore? I saw it got retired recently.

Hi Blantas, you're right.

I started the project a few years ago and had to pause it over a year ago for personal reasons and right now I don't see the urge or opportunity to continue with it. In fact I had a lot of plans for the game but it was a bit too big.

Maybe in a couple of years I'll tackle it again when I've gained more experience and can do it properly. I took it off steam now because I didn't want to raise false hopes when I don't even know if I'm going to continue with it or not.

I'm sorry for that. ):

Thanks for an update about the situation! The reason why I noticed your game is because I check every app which gets retired on Steam. I am actually collecting unreleased games on Steam ( https://steam-tracker.com/ranking/13#76561198027668357 ). Might sound weird, but well... People collect various stuff on the Internet. :D

Do you think there is a chance to acquire a copy of the Where Stars Belong for Steam for a donation? I don't really mind about the quality of the game. The fact that it never got released (yet) on Steam is enough for me to like it. :D

That's indeed a very curious hobby. :D

Well I probably won't get around to updating the game or making it more presentable anytime soon. I think games are made to be played and I would rather send out a playable demo of the game than something half finished.  Right now it's not very playable because a lot of things are completely rebuilt and not linked together by the script.  If I ever get around to patching it all back together so that you can at least test a small demo of it, I'll let you know. :)

I would actually be completely fine with half baked games. It wouldn't be the first game like that in my collection. In fact, I did paid for some games which can't even be installed and don't have any files at all. :D Just getting an entry in my library is already a cool thing to have. :)

Nice short little game. Love the colours used.

Thanks Wallace. :)

The visual style is absolutely gorgeous, the colours contrast so well! The ambience and feel is beautifully done.

I wasn't sure what to do after getting two black orbs. I noticed the blue structure in the center had input feedback but nothing happened when clicking, standing, placing things on it.

I had issues with dual screen, in fullscreen mode the cursor moves outside the window. Try locking the cursor in script.

Otherwise, it's a beautiful surreal experience. Well done! :)

Thanks for the advice. It's now implemented. :)

The problem has now been solved. It was just a missing tick on one of the prefabs.
Check it out now. Everything should work. :D
